It takes one pal emailing it to a 'buddy' and pretty soon you've got a torrent up of your PDF. If you really want to circulate a copy, bite the bullet and either pony up for a rule book or print your PDF version and pass that around. Having a physical copy is far unlikely for it to slip out of folks' hands and get widely distributed. Also, do they really need the entire rule book? Why not print out the sections you deem necessary and pass around that. Mind you, this also treads very thin ice with 'fair use' (and is likely illegal), but at least you are severely limiting the distribution of the material. Giving away your PDFs will likely end up as a disaster.
